Update! London

Hi! I'm in London right now for the next couple of days and then I head off to Austria. I haven't been able to post new entries everyday due to my busy days of walking and never taking my pointer finger off the button that takes the pictures on my camera. I have actually been writing some everyday on my London blog. The entry will be about the culture, the fashion, the food, the people, the city, the smell, the architecture, the weather, how it compares to other cities, the popular locations and London, overall. I will say that it is a very exciting and beautiful city but the night life isn't comparable to a city in USA. It is an elegant and very inspiring, which is what I originally thought it would be like. So, I have no new entries to post for the next few days. I will do a few London entries and then I will post an entry of Vienna, Austria, and a smaller village where I will stay. The night tonight is very nice, a little cool, but at least its not raining. I'm off. Time for tea and a croissant. Enjoy!

Louis Vuitton: Summer 2011 Campaign

Angelina Jolie modeled for the Louis Vuitton Summer 2011 Campaign.
Photographed by Annie Leibovitz

There is no other words to describe the ad other than beautiful and a captivating picture, given the natural setting and look on her face, but as for the practicality of it: Is she really selling the product?
My thoughts? If it was anyone else other than Angelina Jolie, it wouldn't express the Louis Vuitton core values that define Louis Vuitton.

(Same photographer, Annie Leibovitz)
Bono had a similar ad and was also not so effective. Perhaps it is just the photographer's fault. Or maybe, you like it? I do. I am only saying that the ad is incompetent in selling the product: Louis Vuitton, and not the celebrity. Don't get me wrong, I am huge fans of Jolie and Bono. Actually, they're two of my favorites, but perhaps they aren't the best choices for the product. Or maybe they are. I'm sure most people will actually stop and look to see the ad. That's good enough, right?
