Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2013: MENS

Hey everyone! Happy New Year and welcome to India! We have officially arrived in India with this latest collection.. and its exciting!! Jean Paul Gaultier released his 2013 Menswear collection in the showroom this year. And from the sailor's pants, it appears that we arrived here by boat.  The sailors pants are gorgeous! Look at them. I love the looks. The sailor look is a classical trademark of JPG and I just love how he keeps returning to it. I am dreaming of a new type of sailor: one with an impressive education and sweet and charming words and a wardrobe that matches his sophistication. The new sailor has been born on the rough seas of the Indian Ocean. I love the colors, the jackets, the high waisted pants, the patterns, shirts and the jackets and the shorts!! I love it all!

Chanel Spring 2013: High Class Trash

Chanel Spring 2013 did absolutely nothing for me. I did not think and I did not have any sort of fantasy. There was nothing that moved me. What has happened? Was it just an off day or is this some sort of new establishment? Should I be expecting work like this from now on? I'm worried. The details do not excite me in any way and the poor way the clothes fit the models make the apparel look sloppy. The finished look is a mess. Also, the pearls are getting larger. I have had enough with the statement jewelry. I am hoping that this is some of my least favorite work for the year. Let's move on to Louis Vuitton. I did happen to like the grey jacket though. But overall, what was Karl + team thinking?

 No me gusta nada.

 I am so excited to write an entry on Louboutin because it is the most iconic heel in the world and is my favorite French shoe designer. Christian Louboutin has taken on a huge role in the fashion industry. Christian Louboutin, the designer, was born on January 71964. Louboutin is a French footwear designer who launched his line of high-end women's shoes in France in 1991 and his name is also the name of the most popular shoe in the fashion world. His signature red sole is what makes the shoe so recognizable. Since 1992, his designs have incorporated the shiny, red-lacquered soles that have become his signature. On March 27, 2007, Louboutin filed an application for U.S. trademark protection of this red sole design.

The price of Louboutains range starts at about $400+. (Men's) The average Louboutain costs about $900. (Women's heel) When you buy a Louboutin shoe, you aren't just paying for the heel. You are paying for the most luxurious and recognizable she in the world. And sure, you compliments (and jealousy) of others will come in the bag too. It is a status symbol. If you own a pair of Louboutins, you're a somebody.

Louboutin's are a huge trend right now. The shoes are everywhere! Every celebrity has a few pairs of Louboutins. They are already a huge status symbol.  

And it would only be right for the International Fashion Icon to have a pair of CUSTOM VELVET LOUBOUTINS, right?

 
The Advertisements

The advertisements are amazing! Aren't they all so interesting? Louboutin really has had great Ad Campaigns. Could any other designer just photograph their shoe and not have their label on the ad, besides Louboutin? It really is crazy how everyone knows it is Christian Louboutin even when his name is not on the Ad.
