Raf Simons Fall 2012 Menswear

      Hey everyone! As the start to the new week, I decided to get into some exciting designers! Raf Simons, the popular Belgian designer has reached great success in his own lines and as the head creative director of Dior. He's young, age 44. I started to become very familiar with his work about two years ago, when I was researching the history of Dior. Since falling in love with his designs and his "live fast, die Bohemian" lifestyle, I have really began to follow him. Having investing in some a pair of green, fitted jeans with gold buttons, I am even more in love. The jeans fit perfect and look great! They have a great texture and amazing design. They are very fitted and cut meticulously.

         His two collections, "Raf Simons" and "Raf by Raf Simons" are sold at Barneys and at Seven, located in New York. I believe. (I'll have to check on that!) He lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium. This said, I think it is fair to say that he is a home body. Simons is a brilliant designer and a great artist. (Just look at the ad above!!) He is said to be heavily influenced by the youth culture and the rebellious youth. However, his 2012 Fall collection seems to reveal some light upon the dark. Let's take a look!

Here are some of my favorites:

The color around the neck creates a focus on the entire outfit. Great detail. Notice the waist! 

Notice the cuts formed on the shoulders. Looks great!! I love the blue streak and bottom fold. And its a button up!

Great color combo. I love when there is still a Summer feel in Fall collections.

Great look! I love the pale pink. Great model too- Adrien Sahores!! One of my favorites.

If you look closely, you'll notice the pattern! Brilliant.

Rebellious youth!

I really enjoyed looking and analyzing this collection. I really love the pants, the one constant thing throughout the collection. They are fitted and dark and perfectly cut. I also love the crease in the middle! Really elongates the entire look. The clothing is very sleek and very mature.
Great collection. Great cuts. Very fitted.
