Government Hooker

Lady Gaga made her modeling debut in Paris for the Mugler fall/winter season collection. The collection featured dark and gloomy outfits. From larger, plastic shoulder pieces, to skin-tight latex pants, every outfit shinned with a glossy looking polish to it. Of course, the fashion show would not be complete without a customized playlist from Gaga herself, including a remixed version of the up & coming "Government Hooker". "Government Hooker" is already a favorite of mine, and I haven't even heard the album version. It is very catchy & reminds of "Dance in the Dark". It seems to be darkness and struggles. Or should I say, about overcoming your struggles + making light out of the dark. "I'm gonna drink my tears tonight. I'm gonna drink my tears and cry, cause I know you love me, baby." The song is great. The fashion show went well. Gaga could've passed for one of the models. However, the long hair & dramatic catwalk gave it away. And as for Mugler, Nicola Formischetti (Creative Director + my favorite!) + Mugler team did a great job. What a great collection.  Gaga ordered every outfit on the entire collection for herself. Nice.
