Designer T-Shirts: MENSWEAR

So, before I get to the heavy hitters of the Fashion Industry, the Donatellas and the Calvin's, I want to focus on something that I have recently been spending a surprisingly significant amount of time contemplating.. I have been thinking about the limits of fashion but specifically price limits. I feel that I can speak for most people and can say that paying over $50 dollars for a T-Shirt is ridiculous. However, economics aside, some people, other than myself (LOL) would pay more than $50 for a T-Shirt that represents something greater than the fabric. Oh, and I'm a size M! haha.So, as I have been studying this, I came down to three designer T-Shirts that not only represent an idea greater than the fabric can expose but that are actually worth paying the steep price. There are certainly many, many more T-shirts designed by other greats (DSQUARED, DOCLE&GABBANA, GIVENCHY, DIESEL, TOM REBL, BALMAIN, MARC JACOBS, LANVIN + others)  but the following three T-shirts I have selected are the most desirable, fashion forward and iconic. (and resulting in the most compliments!) To come to a conclusion, I really must say that it is a smart fashion move to invest in an (expensive) designer t-shirt. Whether it is by a respected and classic designer, a new and funky one or something in between, a simple t-shirt (most favorably crew neck!) will go take on an important role in your own fashion empire, referred otherwise by your style. As for me? I don't own any high-high end t-shirts, not yet. However, in the near future, do not be surprised if you see me in a colorful and fun F*** You Frankie Morello t-shirt or a in sadistic Alexander McQueen one. Have fun!

The first T-Shirt I would recommend investing in are any made by the late British (genius) designer ALEXANDER MCQUEEN

The next suggestion of designer T-Shirts I would recommend investing in if you are not sure which designer to pick, is the (controversial) French designer 

JOHN GALLIANO

The last (and perhaps my favorite!) recommendation of brand-name T-Shirts are any by Italian designer FRANKIE MORELLO

Price of shirts: $85-250 For those of you who are not familiar with FRANKIE MORELLO, the high-fashion Italian brand is fairly knew, created in 1998 I believe and is fun, artsy, playful, sexy and forward. With the help of the most popular collection yet, the Men's 2012 Spring Summer collection (awesome!) the brand is on its way up. Watch out Calvin! Also, from having wickedly successful and popular models to display the clothes helps- Francisco Lachowski + Adrien Sahores!

New Year, New Opportunites.

Hey! I know it has been such a long time since I have posted a new entry, but I have taken time off to have time to reflect, grow and learn. I hope you have had a great holiday and New Year! My New Years Resolution is to dive deeper into the Arts, explore new things, take a walk down a road I've never been on, leap into the wondrous world of colors, learn and grow with the people who mean most to me, be a nicer person and to love more. Yep, all those things are my goals for the year. Now, let's get this started by getting dreams accomplished. I'm going to tell you the success story of Donatella Versace, the late Gianni Versace and the Versace Empire that lays its ground among the basis of fashion.

Life vs. Death

The Truth about Art is that the Lie that is present throughout the creation is there for validation of beauty, art is being made. Continuing on Picasso's original idea that Art is one big lie that reveals the truth, the truth is revealed through inward validation, not outward. The thought of creating the lie, what some call art, is the process of eliminating the ugliness that first took place. And as for the artist, its' you. The artist is simply the one who identifies the truth and continues on the process of "creating art", which is merely a process of cleansing. The cleansing of your ugliness, of course.

The walls that I once built with my bare hands are now coming down.
