MUGLER 2012 SPRING SUMMER COLLECTION!

Here it is. The collection that I have recently been obsessed with. This is the collection that shows the fashion of the future, while showing current trends. The most noticeable trend: Clear clothing! The clear, see through jackets, somewhat latex look is a huge huge trend this year. Nicola Formichetti really created a piece of art here.
The looks are very strong. The collection was inspired by the Greek Gods. This collection shows that the Gods are among us. Watch the promo video on youtube. It is really cool!

Accordingly, Greek gods, muscle-bound frat boys, tattooed punks, and sylph-ish male models all took their turn down the catwalk, often spattered in glitter. The jackets! AH I love them so much. The shoes, the shirts, the mid-cut blazers, the pants.. I need to get them. The colors! The gold, the green, the purple, the black. LOVE

Lady Gaga performs on The View: Wearing Ferragamo!

HI! Guys, Look what Lady Gaga's wearing! SALVATORE FERRAGAMO! We did it! Gaga read the Tellin' ALL performance and knew she would wear Ferragamo! Her entire ensemble, glasses, piano bench and piano AND EVEN THE MIC are Ferragamo!!!! Fabulous. I knew Gaga was always proud to represent her Italian heritage by wearing a beautiful S.F. outfit.

Shop the Evening Look: $500 Budget

Hi! Today I'm going shopping for an evening look with a budget of $500. My friend called me and asked to pick up a sleek, dark colored dress that is noticeable, but not obnoxious. She, unlike my other friend, doesn't have $3,000 to spend on an outfit. (Who does?) So, I automatically thought to look for a sequin dress. Aidan Mattox makes great sequin dresses at an affordable price. However, while looking on the Nordstroms' website, this beautiful Adrianna Papell dress caught my eye. I knew that would be the dress. The next step would be to search for shoes. Most women make the mistake of matching bright or too trendy of a shoe with their dress. 

TIP* This is my first rule. NEVER wear "loud" shoes with a sequin dress. The sequins are the accessories. The dress is suppose to be the main focus. Wear something simple. A simple heel will look better and will even make the legs appear longer.

Shop the Evening Look: $3,000 Budget

Okay, I have exciting news to share with you! There will be many surprises coming to Tellin' All soon! Including.. my daily Fashion Advice! I will limit myself to a budget, and will tell you what I would buy. The budget will range, and so will what I am looking for. Today I have a budget of $3,000 for an Spring Summer evening event in New York City. My friend is looking for something to wear! Let's get started!

So, first step: The Colors.

I want to go full out and take advantage of the Spring Summer time. I'm headed towards the brights! Which color exactly? PINK.

I came up with 2 outfits that look great.

We have two outfits picked out. It is almost time to chose. Both of them look great! The benefit of picking the first outfit is that there is more money to spend on accessories than the second outfit. 

Accessory #1- Jimmy Choo Clutch

Unfortunately, the clutch is too expensive for the second outfit. It also looks better with the first one. 

Let's look at accessories under $250 for the second outfit.

 Perfect! A nice pair of Adriana Orsini Sterling Pear Drop Earrings- Price: $145

We now have one completed outfit
(Outfit #2) The total cost of this beautiful outfit is $2,898. Nice! And $102 is saved

Luckily for the first outfit, we still have over $1,500 to spend

Great! A pair of Adriana Orsini Tear Drop Earrings with a Price of: $95

 There we have it: Another completed outfit (Outfit #1) The outfit will cost a total of: $1,783 

The first outfit costs nearly $1,150 less than the second one. And personally, it looks better! 

Well, I will let you and my friend decide what looks best.
