Hey readers! I was thinking about the future of my blogging life, and the direction I wanted to go in. With that being said, I wanted to give a formal introduction of who exactly I am. Here is a little about me:
My name is William Ard. I am the youngest of 5 children, a son of an ex-professional football player, and the only one in my family interested in fashion, style, architecture, language and art. I come from a very sports-oriented family, and so, fashion has always been my own space for me to grow on my own. Ever since I was young, I have always been interested in fashion, and since then, my love for it has only grown.
I live in Greenwich Village, a trendy neighborhood in downtown Manhattan. I am a student at a university here, where I study business. Although I plan on working in the fashion industry, I want to graduate a business degree. After all, everything is a business: a design company, magazine, etc.
My goal for my blog (and my Instagram), is to create a portfolio where I can post all of my looks, give advice and display my love for trends, various styles and different ideas. I want my readers to get the same sense of joy and excitement over the clothes, the colors, the lines and the movements as I do. I am very fortunate to be able to wear the clothes I want, and to be living in a city full of fashion-glam, and I am going to display them out and about in the greatest city in the world. I am a college student, and I understand that clothing is very expensive, especially those designed by international brands. I want to break away from the stigma that you need expensive clothes to look nice. I plan on including high end clothing from international fashion houses, to very affordable clothing that nearly everyone can pay the prices. I plan on including where I got it from, and can give a price index for how much I spent. Complete openness is what I intend to achieve. I want to essentially create a magazine, where viewers can browse through my looks, get inspirations, future trends and all, without the cost of having to subscribe or pay for a magazine subscription. While I love Vogue and the high-end designer brands and their collections, I want to transcend those looks to everyone. I want every man and woman to dress the way they want. Continuing on, my blog will display the clothing, modeled by me, all over Manhattan. If you see a piece you look and it is too expensive, please don't hesitate to message me; I can help you search for something that would make your wallet a little happier.
My style is a mixture of high-end designers, pieces from upcoming collections, to street style, including staple items on-sale or from more affordable stores, such as H&M, Zara and Mango. I hope you become more familiar with my style, enjoy my looks and walk away knowing that style is completely individualized. Nothing is too silly and nothing is too boring. Experiment and have fun.
Thanks for reading.
-William

Gisele Bündchen
A name that everyone knows, and a face that everyone recognizes. I'm glad I'm starting to get back into the game, in keeping up with my posts. I heard news yesterday that Gisele Bündchen, the world's most famous supermodel in the world, will be the face of the iconic Chanel No. 5 perfume. This is another huge accomplishment for Gisele. Attached are pictures of Gisele's latest campaign, for H&M. The gorgeous photos are everywhere- especially in Manhattan. There are 3 advertisements on my block, in Greenwich Village. I love them, and Gisele strikes up a pose that captures each and all of our attention and imaginations.

Salvatore Ferragamo Men's Spring 2014
Hey everyone! William here. I have officially moved to New York City and have begun a new stage of my life here. I am engulfed in the nonstop, progressive lifestyle of the Manhattan people. The lifestyle, the face paced, quick walk way of life here is incredible. The food, the fashion, the parties, clubs, restaurants.. All of it. It is overwhelming. In a good sense, of course :-) I'm here to share with you a great collection that I have been slightly obsessing over recently. It is nothing less than true Italian master craftsmanship. And without further ado, Salvatore Ferragamo.
Massimiliano Giornetti, the companies' Creative Director, focused on the ideal image of the athletic male body. The whole world idolizes and desires the male athletic form, and wanted to capture the essence in his latest collection. The clothes are great, the colors vivid, the looks sporty. The end result? A new, techno-like, fashion forward, sporty spring collection. The cuts are great. Notice the high waisted, horizontal neckline the shirts form. It is genius. Nothing short of what we expected from the highest quality in Italian fashion.

Louis Vuitton Menswear Fall 2013
Hello everyone!
I have been busy starting up my new Real Estate blog lately,
and I have neglected to post on this blog. I have been completely following the recent trends and style must haves, however.
Louis Vuitton revealed their looks for their upcoming Fall 2013 collection, and I must say, I love it. I love the deep, passionate colors, and the seriously-sexy looks. Let's take a look at some
of my favorite looks. Modernity has been taken to another level
by Louis Vuitton, once again. This year, we are seeing a lot of animal prints. Just as Burberry produced their mens, animal printed loafers, Louis Vuitton has integrated the animal prints into the clothing as well. I do like the coat in the first picture. I absolutely love the suits and the tuxedos. I would love to wear one of them! Beautiful blazers, and beautiful color combinations: orange and black as well as a deep, royal blue and black. Gorgeous! Pay attention to the sunglasses and to the fur hats. What do you think about them?
I love this look. A great use of orange and black. Love it! |
